Service Street Compromises Integrity. I went to Service Street on Powers and N. Carefree for the first time today for a routine oil change. And when I came to pick up my vehicle I noticed that my pocket knife that I keep in there was missing; mind you, it was intentionally kept in a spot that was hidden and would need to be searched for to find. So when I realized that my knife was missing I went back into the lobby to confront them and the guy up front said, “hold on, let me go talk to the guys in the back”. As I waited in the lobby for him to come back, someone must have slipped it back into the car because he said, “naw man, it’s right there under the seat”. Which is weird because there is no possible way that the knife could have gotten where it was if it had not been picked up and moved. So, I’m pretty sure that if I didn’t go back in and say something they would have tried to get away with it. I’m sure this is not the first time either, so just beware. Side note: I always leave my knife in my car (it’s for emergencies, if I need to suddenly cut the seatbelt or something) and I have never taken it out when I get my car serviced anywhere else; this was the first place I have ever had an issue.

After a week of preparing our truck for vacation, one little engine code showed up and became a big problem. We were not able to fill our gas tank. A recent repair with genuine " manufacture parts" presented the problem startng a 12 hour diagnostic journey. Dave our mechanic, the service advisor, the master mechanic, and the owner were on the problem like a dog on a bone. The mechanic Dave came in on his day off to finish the job. They fixed the problem. All codes gone. Now with 12 shop hours in ...I prepared for the worst....nope they treated me better than I deserved. Well, they earned a position in my book as the "go to" mechanic shop. I will be a customer for the rest of my days. Thank you Service Street for a job well done! Oh... we got to MOAB by the day's end. Truck ran well.
