Just took my wife's Subaru in for an oil change. She's got to be on the road today, time was of the essence, so I came in before noon. I was told the wait was about 45 min, which was a huge bummer but I understood having seen most bays full. What I didn't appreciate - and why I've completely stopped coming to retail service chains - is the over-selling, borderline arrogant approach of the front desk dude about other things they inspected and felt the car needed. I appreciate that they inspect for this and that, but telling me differential fluid needs to be changed and the process is essentially the same as an oil change, and then telling me it's $150...it's understandable that, given I only came in prepared for a single service today, I was not only caught off guard but not interested in it in that moment. That didn't stop this guy from being visibly irritated that I declined politely, stating "Just the oil change today, please." He made sure to remind me the car was past due to the point where it should've been done twice by now (I'm not sure I believe that, will need to check Subaru's recommended schedule), and I'll regret it if it causes a repair bill of thousands later on. Sure, I would regret it if I were taking that risk, but don't assume your patrons' plans. If that wasn't enough, he returned again a few minutes later declaring the techs hadn't found anything else they considered concerning, and to verify that I was certain I wanted to skip the diff service. I politely repeated myself for the third time: "Just the oil change today, please." His response was to leave the room uttering under his breath, "OK...doesn't care about maintenance..." You don't know what I do or do not know about the car, what my plans are contextual to this service, and if it were up to me this car wouldn't be returning here for any reason. Lucky for Service Street, it's my wife's car, and she is like many wives; she wants the convenience of not having to perform an oil change herself, and doesn't know when she's being pressured vs educated. I would like to thank this young man for reminding me why I change my own oil on my car, along with any serviceable item.

I scheduled an oil change for my wife's car from 10am to 11am. Arrived a little early, got checked in, waited in area, but didn't see the car move until about noon. Would have chose to drop off the vehicle had I known an oil change would take 3 hours. This is the only time I have had an issue. Great people there behind the counter and working on the vehicles.

ED is a Saint! On December 16th 2021 I was hit by an unlicensed driver, driving a company vehicle! ( I know stupid) I've been battling the company's insurance because they think they shouldn't have to pay. I only have one vehicle and the undercarriage of my car ended up needing $2100 in repairs since the accident destroyed my suspension, alignment, and did some warping. Ed and his team did the most possible to make sure I was taken care of, and I was able to finance the repairs while being tied up with insurance. They kept me up to date on my vehicle, and provided me a full report of the repairs done to my car. Not just that but Ed wrote an email explaining the repairs, so I could submit them to insurance, explaining the damages were caused by the accident! Because this company works with carfax we were able to verify that my vehicle had never had alignment issues before this accident! Ed and his team genuinely went above and beyond to take care of me and my situation and made this process as smooth as possible! I'm am soooo soooo thankful, and highly recommend this service street store! They have earned and kept my business for 3 years now, and will for years to come! 10/10, I'm 100% satisfied with my experience, and Ed and his team deserve to all get a raise!
