Simply stated: not a good experience, not a good business. Service Street charged me almost $20 more than I was quoted for an oil change, for a total of $79.32 before tax. When I pointed out the increased price, I was told that my car needed more oil than the originally quoted price provides. Not only have I never seen prorated oil change pricing before, but when I told the guy behind the counter that this was not the advertised price, he simply pointed at the price on the sign, implying a small text disclaimer. Yet, when I asked him to show me this small text, he could not find it, but simply said, "this one's not on me." All of this in addition to constant up-selling - I had to say no to the val-pack 3 times at drop-off, no to the air filter and system flush over the phone, and no to the val-pack 2 more times at pick-up. I can understand asking once, but they don't need to press me and then roll their eyes. I would not recommend this business. January, 2021
